Refund and Cancellation Policy

Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled only before production or shipment begins.
  • Once processing or shipping has started, cancellation is not allowed.

Refund Policy

  • Let’s be real—export business is not like Amazon returns. Refunds are strict and conditional:
  • Refunds will only be considered if:
  • The product delivered is significantly different from agreed specifications
  • Goods are damaged before delivery (verified proof required)
  • Quantity shortage is proven with valid documentation

Non-Refundable Situations

  • No refunds will be provided in cases of:
  • Change of mind by buyer
  • Minor quality variations (normal in agriculture products)
  • Delays due to shipping, customs, or force majeure
  • Improper storage or handling after delivery

Claim Process

  • Buyer must raise a claim within 3–7 days of delivery
  • Must provide:
    • Photos/videos
    • Inspection report (if applicable)
    • Written explanation
  • Without proof, claims will be rejected. Simple.

Refund Method

  • Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method
  • Processing time may take 7–15 business days
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Letter of Credit (LC) Clause

Letter of Credit Terms

  • All transactions above [amount] shall be conducted via Irrevocable Letter of Credit (LC).
  • The LC must be:
  • Issued by a reputed international bank
  • Confirmed (if required) by a bank acceptable to Intelli Tradexim Solutions
  • Payable at sight or within agreed usance period
  • The LC must strictly comply with International Chamber of Commerce rules under UCP 600
  • All banking charges outside India shall be borne by the buyer
  • Any discrepancies in LC terms must be corrected within 3 working days, failing which shipment may be delayed or cancelled

Late Payment Penalty Clause

Delay in Payment

  • Any delay in payment beyond the agreed due date will attract interest at 2% per month (or 24% annually)
  • Payment delay beyond 15 days gives the seller the right to:
  • Suspend further shipments
  • Cancel pending orders
  • Take legal action
  • All legal and recovery costs will be borne by the buyer.

Quality & Dispute Protection Clause

Inspection & Claims

  • Goods shall be inspected at origin or by third-party inspection (if agreed)
  • Once goods are shipped, responsibility transfers as per Incoterms
  • Claims must be raised within 3 days of delivery with:
  • Photographic evidence
  • Official inspection report
  • No claims will be accepted after this period

Force Majeure Clause

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay due to:

  • Natural disasters
  • War, strikes, or government restrictions
  • Port congestion or shipping delays

Jurisdiction Clause

Governing Law

  • All disputes shall be governed by the laws of India
  • Jurisdiction shall be exclusively in courts of Mumbai

Incoterms Clause

Shipping Terms

  • All shipments shall be governed by latest Incoterms 2020
  • Risk transfer and responsibility will be as per agreed terms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.)

Partial Refunds

  • In some cases, partial refunds or negotiated settlements may be provided instead of full refunds.
